Attorneys William White and Chris Richardson were both born and raised in Dothan.

Chris Richardson was born and raised in Dothan. Chris began his legal career with the District Attorney’s office for the 19th Judicial Circuit before moving back home and accepting a position with Espy, Metcalf & Espy where his practice consisted of Bankruptcy, Civil Defense, Probate and Social Security law, among others. Chris joined our firm in 2018, bringing with him a vast array of knowledge from many different practice areas. Chris is a product of the Dothan City Public School system (Northview High School, Class of 1999). Chris earned his undergraduate from the University of Alabama and his law degree from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law (Now Faulkner Law School). For the past 20 years Chris has served in the Alabama Army National Guard, earning his current rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Chris serves as a Logistics Officer and has two combat deployments. Chris is the immediate past-President of the Houston County Bar Association, serves as a deacon at First Presbyterian Church and is active with the Westgate Dixie Youth Baseball Board and the Headland Lion’s Club.

Similarly, William White grew up at the Houston County courthouse where his father, Jerry M. White was the District Attorney, and later became elected presiding Circuit Judge. William worked for Doug Valeska in the District Attorney’s office for several years, before striking out in private practice as the contract attorney for former presiding Circuit Judge Lawson Little in 2003. William is a product of the Dothan City Public School system having graduated from Northview High School (Now Dothan High School) in 1991 before attending the University of Alabama for both undergraduate school and law school.
